Welcome to CodeXBRL, a one-stop resource center for open source tools that
enable a simpler, more efficient XBRL implementation for compliance purposes,
and a guide to achieve the benefits of XBRL for your company’s own internal
reporting and auditing processes.
CodeXBRL
is a collection of .NET and Java functions to generate and process data in
XBRL Global Ledger (XBRL GL) format and link it with multiple
XBRL taxonomies for
XBRL data generation and reconciliation. The source code for all the functions
is available as open source at
http://codexbrl.sourceforge.net as well as simple Windows desktop
applications that can be used to test the functions.
This website provides basic sandboxes where each function can be evaluated and
tested. Check our Resources page for documentation that explains the
architecture of each function and some background about XBRL and XBRL Global
Ledger and their value as part of standard-based architectures for data
integration, exchange and consolidation, audit trail, internal and external
reporting and reconciliation, and more. |
